"Members of the Monroe County Sheriff’s SCUBA team searched the Genesee River alongside several other agencies near the boat launch in Charlotte Wednesday. The teams were looking for evidence of Robert and Mary Ross, a couple in their 70s who were last seen on January 30.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said divers used side-sonar to scan north of the Pattonwood Bridge to Lake Ontario.

The warmer weather and subsequent receding ice flow allowed for the search to resume.

A missing persons' report was filed on February 5 for Robert Ross, 73, and his wife Mary Ross, 72. Robert had a medical appointment scheduled for January 30, but has not been seen since. Investigators said he did not show up for subsequent medical appointments."

"Robert Ross is described as 6' tall and weighing 200 lbs. He is bald and has brown eyes.

Mary Ross is described as 5'4" tall and weighing 160 lbs. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

They drive a white 2017 Kia Sorrento, with the New York license plate that reads 'BLUSTERY.'

Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen the couple to please call 911."
