Parolee Accused Of Rape

The day after 23-year-old Michael Caruthers was released from prison he was arrested, accused of raping a teenage girl Saturday morning. According to Rochester Police, the girl was attacked on near Liberty Pole Way. According to police, it happened just a couple blocks from the Salvation Army shelter Caruthers was scheduled to live as a parolee.

His freedom was short-lived. Caruthers was arrested Saturday, back behind bars. He was remanded to the Monroe County Jail without bail after he pled not guilty to felony rape and criminal sex act charges, as well as a misdemeanor for criminal obstruction of breathing in Rochester City Court Monday morning.

Sports Time

The final Bills preseason game is blacked out because it didn't sell out.  That's how greedy the NFL is, they won't even show a game that doesn't count if the stadium isn't full.

An ESPN/NFL Nation Confidential poll surveyed 100-plus players to find the least desirable location to play in the NFL. The question was this: "The only way I'd play for [team name] is if they doubled my salary."

The "winner"? Oakland, with 23 percent of the 82 respondents. Following Oakland were:

• Buffalo Bills (19 percent)
• Cleveland Browns (16 percent)
• Jacksonville Jaguars (9 percent)
• Green Bay Packers (6 percent).

John is upset that his Packers made this list, just because it's in the middle of nowhere and is freezing cold.

Looks like Buffalo is gonna sign a new quarterback, Jordan Palmer who just got cut by Chicago.  Sound like all our problems are solved.

Marshall Fine Emmy Take

Marsh watched the Emmys last night, and thought it was a very entertaining show... much better than the Oscars broadcast.  Seth Myers was very funny as the host.

Even though Marshall is a fan of Big Bang Theory he didn't think it deserved Best Comedy.  Fine was a big fan of "True Detective", which won.  Everyone loved Billy Crystal's tribute to Robin Williams.

We also break down Seth Myers monologue, which made some great points about awards shows.

Paranoia Or Safety

A discussion of keeping kids safe with the school year starting, kids with Facebook accounts, etc... leads to talking about paranoia.  This article from the Washington Post gives you the reasons you may not want to put your kids back to school photos on Facebook.
