Wease Gets A King On The River
We start the show by talking to our guest cohost Deanna King, who is sitting in with us for a couple hours this morning. She is the one who closed the door in Wease’s face last week, so naturally that’s the first thing we ask her about, and she defends herself admirably.
Tragedy In Ogden
There is a corner in the town of Ogden where many accidents have happened over the years, and there was a terrible one yesterday where a woman was crushed under a truck filled with gravel.
John Ditullio Sports Talk
The ratings are out for Sunday night's NFL preseason game, and they were at regular season levels. Unbelievable.
Wease and Billy want to know why so many people were watching a pre-preseason game. There are baseball games that actually count right now. Billy mentions that before the Bills/Giants game there was a WWE special, and the wrestling matches on that show counted more than that football game.
Tools also makes fun of the NY Mets for taking part in the new Sharknado movie. That's how cool the Mets are... they're involved in a huge pop culture phenomenon.
Wease also shares memories of playing softball as a young man and the professional softball league that used to be in Rochester.
Newark Village Police received a call from a Marie Avenue woman concerninga possible domestic incident in progress on Thursday (7/24). According to police,
Aron Bell Jr., age 22, of Blackmar Street in Newark climbed up through a window at the Marie Avenue address to “profess his love for the victim”. After not getting the response he wanted, Bell retreated to the kitchen, where he grabbed a kitchen knife and said he would hurt himself to prove his love.
Bell was taken into custody and initially taken to the hospital for mental observation.
On Tuesday (7/29) Bell was arrested on a warrant for Criminal Trespass in the 2nd Degree, arraigned and released with an Order of Protection for the victim.
Aron's story leads to Wease, Deanna, and Pauly to tell stories about how they've had their hearts broken.

Riesling Festival Fun
Joined in studio by Lauren Dixon from Dixon Schawbl, here to promote the Riesling Festival in Canadaigua this weekend. Food, wine, music, arts and crafts, grape stomping, and more. The headliner for us (especially Pauly) is that it will be the premier of Gugliemlo Sauce. Paul will have a concession stand selling his sauce, and also be giving a demonstration on how it is made.
Wease tells the story of a car accident Doreen got into yesterday... small damage and everyone's ok, but will still be a little costly. Shockingly Wease and Doreen wound up in an argument after Wease went to the accident scene to get the kids and the dog. She took what he said to her as sarcastic, and he says he didn't mean it that way.
Wease also wound up chatting with the other person in the accident, the cops, etc...
Doreen is still mad that Wease wasn't supportive enough, and didn't act with enough sympathy.
Bikini Battle Scars
A Canadian mother was recently shamed for her stretchmarks when trying to sunbathe in her bikini. She was upset, but then wrote a fantastic response. Read about it HERE.
A married grandma of 14 faces six months behind bars after she had public sex with a man who was not her husband at a public pavilion in Florida. Peggy Klemm, 68, and her 49-year-old copulation co-conspirator, David Bobilya, were sentenced Wednesday after their romp at Lake Sumter Landing Market Square, Click Orlando reports. Apparently, a retirement community there called The Villages, which houses 100,000 people, is known for its wild nights, $3.75 cocktails and public sex. Klemm likely got arrested because she was on probation for a previous reckless driving charge, the Daily Mail reports. She was slapped with six months in jail when she took a plea deal for the public sex.
