Curtis Howden was arrested in connection with Tuesday's domestic violence incident on Redman Road in Sweden.
Howden was charged with first degree criminal contempt, second degree strangulation, second and third degree assault and second degree criminal mischief.
Howden was arraigned at the Town of Sweden Court and remanded to Monroe County Jail on $7,500 cash bail or $15,000 bond.
