On Sunday at 5:50pm, State Police in Canandaigua stopped a vehicle for possible DWI.
Peter Chambers, 34, on Canandaigua refused to take a breathe test and after taking one later, he was NOT charged with DWI.
Here is the twist... Chambers is a Wayne County Attorney.
He was then charged with Assault in the 3rd degree after it was alleged that he got into an arguement with his wife, pushed and yanked her out of the car. She then fell to the ground and obtained bruises and scrapes.
Chambers was released to appear in Canandaigua Town Court.
