Trouble continues to follow Heather Locklear as the actress was arrested on Sunday night (June 24) for battery on a police officer and an EMT, as per TMZ.
According to law enforcement sources, Locklear was taken into custody at her home shortly before midnight and booked for two counts of misdemeanor battery upon an officer and emergency personnel. It marked the second time that deputies went to her residence on Sunday. They showed up around 6 PM for another disturbance, but no crimes had been committed.
When authorities arrived on the scene, Locklear was reportedly "heavily intoxicated" and "extremely agitated." During the incident, she punched a responding deputy, who was trying to separate Heather from members of her family. Things went a step further when an EMT was kicked while trying to put her on a gurney. After being transported to a hospital to get checked out, Locklear was taken to jail and booked. She's being held on $20,000 bail.
Captain Garo Kuredjian, a spokesman for the sheriff’s office, did not offer too many details on the debacle. However, he did reveal that the actress is facing two counts of misdemeanor battery for attacking an officer and assaulting a member of the emergency personnel team. Just last week, Locklear was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold after allegedly choking her mom and attacking her dad.
