Barbara Amidon, 74 of Waterloo dies after rock goes through car windshield. Amidion was a passenger on Route 5 and 20. The car was driven by Gregory Sterman of Geneva. Sterman stated the incident took place after a rock was tossed from the rear of a commercial tractor trailer.
“According to Mr. Sterman, the rock bounced on the pavement and entered the passenger side window striking Amidon in the head,” said Lt. David Cirencione, Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
