A man has been arrested in connection to the death of a 22-year-old Rochester man. Jimmie Wright, 22, of Rochester was arrested on Monday and charged him with murder in the second degree. Police said officers responded to Joseph Avenue for the report of a large crowd fighting on June 28. Jean Mejias-Vargas, 22, was taken to the hospital with a serious head injury. He died July 22 as a result of his injuries. Wright is expected to be arraigned Tuesday morning in Rochester City Court.
