Constantine Murrell is facing charges after he led police in Batavia on a chase in a stolen car that belonged to a 76-year-old woman. Murrell a Rochester parolee hi-jacked the car at the Kwik Fill on Jackson Street around 8:30 a.m.
"We do not normally have carjackings in the city, especially on a Tuesday morning," Chief Shawn Heubusch said. "This is very unique. We do have car larcenies occasionally, but carjackings are very unique."
