Who doesn't love a good burger from one of the many burger chains around the country? Unless you are a vegan, you've likely hit up a fast food joint. After this story, you might think again. McDonald's, Burger King, White Castle and Five Guys all received a failing grade in a review assessing their practices and policies on antibiotics use in their beef products. Just two chains received an "A" grade. Shake Shack and BurgerFi are the only companies currently offering up beef raised without antibiotics. Why does this matter to you? If too many antibiotics are pumped into livestock, and you consume the meat from that livestock, you could be at risk of developing life-threatening infections.
