Starbucks is planning to install needle-disposal boxes in restrooms at some locations. More than 3,000 people signed a petition calling on the company to provide a safe way to dispose of drug needles. The petition was started after employees reported finding uncapped needles and discarded syringes in bathrooms. Starbucks announced a new policy in May allowing anyone to sit in their stores or use their bathrooms even if they don't make a purchase.
