A Sodus man is accused of choking a woman during a domestic dispute while she held a child. The incident happened in Lyons. Ulysses Lawrence, 39, has been charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare of a child. Investigators allege Lawrence grabbed a woman by the throat while she was holding a child under the age of one in her arms. He was arraigned and is due back at a later date. An order of protection was also issued.
