A Geneseo man is accused of breaking a baby's ribs and causing bruising. According Livingston County Sheriff's deputies, Brandon Augsbury, 25, was caring for the baby when the child was abused. Augsbury was arrested Monday after police were called to Strong Memorial Hospital to look into injuries on a 3-month-old. Augsbury is charged him with second-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. Geneseo Police charged him with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Augsbury is being held in the Livingston County Jail. Child Protective Services is continuing with their investigation.
