A child was struck by a line drive at the Chicago Cubs vs. Houston Astros game on Wednesday night. Alberto Cubs center fielder Albert Almora Jr., who hit the ball, was visibly distraught.. He was comforted by teammate Jason Heyward and manager Joe Maddon. Following the inning, Almora spoke to a security guard in the area of the foul ball and again appeared overcome by emotion. He covered his face with his hat and appeared to be wiping away tears after walking back to the dugout.
