A Springwater man is facing multiple charges after he tried to run from Livingston County Sheriff's Deputies, only to be tased to the pavement.
34-year-old Stephen R. Schroeder was stopped by deputies on June 20th coming off 390 in Avon for an alleged traffic violation.
Schroeder was found to be driving on a twice suspended license and became aggressive with the deputy when they tried to arrest him.
Schroeder was able to run off for a brief moment, but deputies caught up and used a taser to bring him in to custody.
Schroeder allegedly had crack cocaine, heroin, pills and weed on him. He's facing the following charges:
- 3rd degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle
- 3 counts of 7-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- resisting arrest
- unlawful possession of marijuana.
