A caretaker at an Arc of Steuben facility in Hornell has been charged with murder. Police say Jay Sprague, 60, was found dead inside the home owned by the Arc. Sprague was found Monday morning after police responded to a 9-1-1 call for a man with a neck injury. Alan Schultheis, 65, his caretaker, has been charged with murder and tampering with evidence. Police say Schultheis was employed to supervise residents.
