Florida Woman Uses Stun Gun on Husband When He Asks for Divorce

A Florida woman has been arrested for reacting to her husband's divorce request by shocking him with a stun gun. Clearwater resident Pamela Carr, 69, is facing a charge of domestic battery in connection with the incident, which sheriff's officials say occurred in the couple's mobile home. The couple, who have been married for nine years, reportedly got into an argument that ended with Carr's husband demanding a divorce, according to a Pinellas County Sheriff's Office report. Carr responded by taking her Taser out of her purse and stunning her husband "several times at close range," the report indicates. While Carr has admitted to shocking her hubby, she claims she only acted in self-defense.
