If you're still waiting for your stimulus money to arrive, you might want to check your garbage can. Residents all over the country are complaining they mistakenly tossed the payment because they believed it was junk mail. The problem started when the Internal Revenue Service switched from mailing out checks to sending residents pre-paid debit cards, which arrive in envelopes marked "Money Network Cardholder Services." The envelopes, which don't indicate they're from the government, look almost identical to those containing high-interest credit card offers. That's exactly what Florida resident Bonnie Moore thought when she received her card. "My husband looked at it, briefly read it and said, ‘Do you want this?'" Moore says. "And I said, ‘I don’t need another fake card.’ So he cut it up in little pieces. The next thing you see is I am in the garbage can trying to pull out all of the pieces together, which did not work."
