A father could face charges after his 9-year-old son was killed in a dirt bike crash on Sunday. Rochester police say the accident happened at the Franklin High School campus around 3:30 p.m. Investigators say the boy was riding a motocross bike with his father when the pair hit a curb or divot in the grass and crashed. The 9-year-old later died at the hospital. Police say they were not wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
