One person was killed after a car crashed into a garage at a home in Chili on Sunday. According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, deputies said the crash happened at a home near the corner of Union Street and Ronnie Lane. Investigators say after the car hit the garage, the building became engulfed in flames and was destroyed. The outside of the home was also damaged. None of the people inside the home were injured, according to police. Two firefighters had minor injuries.
