Pitcher Suffers Facial Fracture After Getting Hit With 100-MPH Line Drive

A scary moment during a White Sox and Oakland Athletics baseball game. In the bottom of the second inning, pitcher Chris Bassitt got hit in the side of the head. The line drive was 100.1 miles per hour off the bat. It just struck Bassitt squarely on the right side of the face, in the upper cheek area. Bassitt will need surgery.
