A call for stolen laundry detergent led to the arrest of Bruce Washington, 58, and Monica Bailey, 36, a Rochester man and woman on drug and stolen vehicle charges Monday.
Washington was leaving the Shur Fine plaza in Livonia when police saw him with "a noticeable bulge in the front of his coat."
When Washington got to his car, Police ran the plates and realized the car was STOLEN!
Police pulled Washington over and not only found the stolen car and stolen detergent, but a passenger with some extra baggage.
The passenger, Monica Bailey, had two bags of coke and needles were later found. Washington's driver's license was also suspended 29 times.
