Richard J. Hoyer, 62, was arrested earlier this month in Bath for impersonating a Police Officer. He was charged with two counts of misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon, and one count of unauthorized police lighting in a vehicle, and a traffic violation.
Hoyer had a switchblade knife, a police-issued stun gun, police lighting installed in the vehicle, a firearm later found to be a blank firing pistol, handcuffs, pepper spray, a police badge, ballistic shields and body armor.
