Protest Erupts As ICE Agents Arrest Family in Geneseo

A protest led to several arrests at a demonstration overnight, in response to the immigration arrest of a family from Guatemala.

The vehicle was originally pulled over for speeding with 2 female adults and several children inside, and 2 of the kids were NOT in a car seat when they should have been. No one had a license and they did NOT own the car! There were a total of 8 people in the car and the driver had a Guatemala passport

Both sisters and their brother were taken into custody by Border Patrol.

Another protest is scheduled for today at 5 p.m. at the Federal Building in downtown Rochester.
