33-year-old Jessica Goodrich was arrested for multiple felony charges for alleged welfare fraud when she claimed more than $10,000 in benefits she was not entitled to.
Goodrich was lying about living separately from her husband, who was employed, and filing for SNAP and HEAP benefits.
Goodrich was residing with her husband and, for a period of time, was employed herself. She allegedly failed to report all income to DSS.
Goodrich was arraigned on charges of grand larceny 3rd, welfare fraud 3rd, and offering a false instrument for filing 1st. She has been released and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Lyons Court at a later date.
