Rachel Lafferty, 27, and her mother Gloria Lafferty, 66, of Perry were arrested following a traffic stop in the village.
Rachel was wanted on a warrant for drug sales. Police believed Rachel was in a vehicle that Gloria Lafferty was driving. When she was asked if her daughter was in the car, she denied that she was in the van. During a search of the vehicle, Rachel was found hiding in the rear storage.
Rachel was accused of selling suboxone and was charged with two counts each of criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
Gloria was charged with third-degree hindering prosecution.
