(AP) - There are reports that at least ten people are dead in a series of explosions on the subway system in the Russian city of St. Petersburg. Russian media say an explosion at one station killed ten people and injured 30. There are unconfirmed reports that a second subway station was also attacked. Subway officials say eight stations have been closed. Photos posted on social media show the door of a subway train blown out. Other photos show injured commuters lying on the station platform. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said President Vladimir Putin is aware of the reports of the explosions and has expressed condolences to the families of the victims, according to state-run Russia 24. There has been comment yet from the White House.
