Man Dragged Off United Airlines Flight Because It Was Overbooked

A video showing a United Airlines passenger being forcibly removed from an overbooked flight has gone viral and the airline is getting bashed all over social media.

The Sunday night flight from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport was overbooked, so the airline asked four passengers to give up their seats. One man refused, and then an officer in plain clothes grabbed him and physically removed him from the seat. Stunned passengers watched and recorded the scene on their cellphones as he was dragged down the aisle.

Moments later the man was able to get back on the plane and was seen jogging up and down the aisle saying he needed to get home. A medical crew was then brought on board to treat the man and passengers were asked to wait inside the gate so the plane could be tidied up. The flight was delayed for two hours before taking off for Louisville. The removed passenger was later re-booked on another flight.
