Greece Teen Needs Your Help

This is worth the read:

"Last year I have had the privilege of meeting a young boy named Tyler. If you are from the Greece area you might recognize him as a heavy set teenager that sells lemonade in front of his house on Maiden Lane. I have invited him to the boxing gym to help him get in shape and have fun. He was very excited to join and get started. He has expressed to me how much he wanted to get involved in school sports but quit due to they fact that he was constantly picked on and humiliated because of his weight.

Just at the very moment that I was thinking about him today I saw him once again selling lemonade in from of his home. When I pulled over to talk to him I've noticed that his rate obesity has reached the point of being fatal. I asked about his current situation and what was the reason for not being able to sign up for boxing. This was the update: His mother has cancer, his father is currently incarcerated, his mother has no means of transportation or the finances to afford boxing lessons and equipment.

As Tyler reluctantly made this confession to me I noticed he was fighting back the tears that were filling his eyes. I'm not one to shed a tear, but as I drove home this broke me. This young boy is by far one of the most respectful young men that I have met. He has a heart of gold and deserves to be treated fairly and given the help that needs. Above all he deserves to have his life saved. Because of this I am making it my mission to start a campaign to finance the improvement of his health and well-being and give him a better outlook on life.

In time I will set up a means of finance to cover Tyler's gym fees, equipment, clothes, meals and nutritionist. If anyone has any questions, ideas or would like to help out in any way possible feel free to contact me. Everyone have a great day."
