Charles Rodriguez Sr., 40, left a one year old baby alone in a hot apartment on North Spruce Street.
A concerned neighbor believed a child was alone in the apartment.
Officers could not locate Rodriguez, believed was the baby's father.
The mother was in Buffalo overnight and had left the baby with Rodriguez.
The child was awake and the temperature inside the apartment was 85 degrees.
Rodriguez was already a wanted man.
Rodriguez did not come back until the next morning.
He was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
He was sentenced to six months in Genesee County Jail
