Wesley Askews, Jr., 49, of Albion has been charged with attempted murder after he assaulted another person, causing severe head injuries.
When police arrived at North Main Street for the report of an altercation, they found a 53 y/o man with severe injuries.
Both Askews and the victim lived in the same apartment.
Askews' girlfriend, Danielle Wray, 40, was also charged. She threatened witnesses who gave information in the case.
Wray is charged with 3rd degree Intimidating a Witnesses, a felony.
