Axel is a 8 month old black lab. Last night he got away from my nephew and got hit by a car. The car never stopped. We brought him to the emergency vet,which cost us 800$, just to find out what was wrong. He sub stained numerous fractures to his hip and sacral joints.
Surgery will cost between 4000-5000$. Without the surgery, he will loose the use of his leg and the cartilage growth may cause him to loose the ability to urinate and use his bowels, this would cause us to have to euthanize him.
We are trying to raise funds to help him with surgery any little bit helps. Thanks for any help we appreciate it very much.
