City Court Judge Leticia Astacio is making news again. Astacio, who remains in the Monroe County Jail, has reportedly fired her attorney Ed Fiandach.
In June, Fiandach received a text message from Astacio's sister informing him that he was being removed from the case. He said Astacio said it was a mistake. She was ordered to stay in jail without bail for at least another month after another judge ruled that she violated the terms of her conditional release.
Astacio will be back in court July 6.
