Daniel DeLaus, 21, the man accused of luring children to his car last summer in Penfield has had another charge dropped.
NOW, he only faces 1 single count of endangering the welfare of a child.
When the court paperwork was originally filed, only one of the victims supplied their age in the court documents. Because of that, only 1 victim was legally determined to be a child, resulting in the dropped charge.
Stalking charges against Delaus were also dropped.
Here is the kicker... Daniel DeLaus Jr., the suspect's father, was a key adviser to former County Executive Maggie Brooks, first as county attorney and later as deputy county executive.
