During testimony in the Rideout murder trial on Friday morning, it was pointed out that blood spatter was found on a pair of underwear and jeans.
DNA from the clothing was linked to Colin and Laura Rideout.
Paul Kish, the blood spatter analyst, said at least two blows must be landed on a person's body.
