Newark Healthcare Worker Stole Thousands from Client

13 WHAM - "A woman from Newark was arrested Saturday after police said she used a healthcare client's credit card to rack up thousands of dollars in debt.

According to our news partners at the Times of Wayne County, 30-year-old Amanda Sued worked as a home healthcare aide for a 63-year-old woman with disabilities.

The client allegedly allowed Sued to buy gas for transportation. Sued was arrested for petit larceny on September 2 after she allegedly used the card to charge $146 worth of merchandise at a KwikFill.

As investigators kept looking, they say Sued stole $4,386 from the client, using multiple cards to spread out her purchases.

Sued was subsequently charged with grand larceny 4th, forgery 2nd, and identity theft to obtain goods.

Sued was arraigned in Newark Village Court and remanded to jail on $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond."
