News 8 - "Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio has officially asked for her probation to be terminated, following a meeting Tuesday afternoon between Astacio's new lawyers and prosecutors.
Astacio's lawyers say they will also request that her probation violation accusations be thrown out. They say there's evidence she did not commit three of the alleged violations related to the scram device, which is the ankle bracelet detects alcohol consumption.
Prosecutors say Tuesday's meeting was productive.
"Judge Aronson was very patient with the new attorney and offered him an opportunity to get up to speed, to allow him to know what was discussed at previous conferences that he wasn't present," Ontario County Assistant District Attorney said.
