WHEC - "Rochester police said Thursday there would be no criminal charges for an incident at the city’s newest charter school in which a teacher is accused of knocking down a student, costing the student two teeth.
“This will not be accepted. It’s not gonna be accepted all,” declared Kia Thompson-White, the boy’s mother.
Thompson-White said on September 29, she was told her 6-year-old son K’Harii Williams had had a rough day at Exploration Elementary charter school. And then, when she saw the child, she realized he had suffered a split lip and had lost one of his front teeth.
In a trip to an emergency clinic, a second front tooth was judged too loose and also had to be pulled out. The boy told his mother a gym teacher knocked him to the ground when he was acting up."
