13 WHAM - "An urgent search is underway Tuesday for a missing 21-year-old woman with special needs.
Starrlita Smith was last seen around 7 p.m. Monday when she walked out of her home in Leicester."
13 WHAM - "Livingston County Sheriff Tom Dougherty said they are in the area of River Road and Perry Road in Leicester and sweeping the area.
Sheriff Dougherty added that Smith is 21 but has the mental capacity of someone between the ages of about 6-12.
"I would ask any resident who hasn't checked their outbuildings - please go outside and check your outbuilding make sure she's not on your property," Dougherty said. "If she is, call us. I would ask anyone who's got video surveillance - some homeowners have cameras around their house. If you can check those and see if she walked by your house. We are looking for anything - a timeline and a location past her house at 7:00 would be extremely helpful to us.""
