Abusing the System at it's Finest

"News10NBC has obtained court documents alleging a local Medicaid recipient sold his prescriptions to drug dealers.

Investigators say Ronald Lockwood admitted the Oxycodone was not enough to deal with his pain, so he began selling prescriptions to purchase heroin. News10NBC has learned the drug was prescribed after a crash in 2000.

The state attorney general's office says Lockwood received 12,500 Oxycodone pills between 2015 and 2016. Investigators say he obtained the pills through Medicaid at a cost of $12,000."
