The Vision Automotive Group - "The Rochester General Pediatric Associates (RGPA) serves children birth to age 21. There are currently 15,709 patients enrolled, and visits reach nearly 34,000 annually. RGPA works closely with the Pediatric Emergency Room and the Inpatient Unit to provide an entire scope of care for our patients and their families. 78% of these patients receive public assisted health care benefits. This holiday season, RGPA is excited to spread cheer to these patients by once again partnering with Vision Automotive for the 12th Annual Santa Shop and Reason for the Season Toy Drive.
Vision Automotive Group "Santas" will join forces with local morning show personalities on November 17th and visit Walmart for the giant Santa Shop, purchasing gifts for the children served by RGPA. In conjunction with the Walmart Foundation Community Funding Grant, Vision Automotive Group is delighted to provide over $7,000 worth of items! Continuing the Toy Drive throughout the season, Vision will host donation boxes at each dealership and encourage the community to stop by and donate a toy to the program. In return for their generosity, Vision will give the donor a gift certificate for a Free Oil Change! This wonderful program concludes with Santa's Workshop at Rochester General Hospital. Santa and his friends at Vision, joined by the local morning show personalities, will distribute the gifts to the children.
RGH's "Santa's Overstocked" shopping program allows medical providers to refer families to come select a gift per child based on an understanding of the family's needs. After the holidays, remaining toys are provided to children in need in all settings: Rochester General Pediatric Associates, Pediatric Emergency Department and Inpatient Unit, as appropriate. Due to the generosity of the program, RGPA is able to assist children and families throughout the entire year. Vision Automotive Group is proud to once again participate in this wonderful program. We thank all of our customers, family and friends for their support and donations to children in need. After all, giving is the true Reason for the Season!
