Man Finally BUSTED for ROC Airport Car Part Thefts

13 WHAM - Deputies arrested a Rochester man in connection to a series of car part thefts at the Rochester International Airport.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, 47-year-old Harry Coates III was taken into custody after deputies located him at his home on LeSailles Street in Rochester.

"During an interview with law enforcement, Coates admitted to stealing the Cadillac rims and as well as the Ford F150 tailgate from the airport parking garage.

A family from Rochester returned from a Christmas trip to Florida to find two of the tires were stolen from their SUV while it was parked in a parking garage on the grounds of the Greater Rochester International Airport.

Coates was taken into custody and charged with two counts of 4th degree Grand Larceny, one count of 2nd degree Auto Stripping and one count of 3rd degree Criminal Mischief.

He was transported to Monroe County Jail.

Officials are attempting to find the stolen rims and tailgate."
