Groupon is disgusted after a third-party vendor was caught selling a winter boot with the help of a racial slur.
Customers called for a boycott after discovering two pairs of suede boots were being offered in the "n----r-brown."
The boots have since been removed from the site.
Groupon's Vice President of Global Communications Bill Roberts has issued an apology:
"We are appalled that this language was displayed on our site," Roberts said in a statement to Cosmopolitan. "This product description was provided by a third-party seller via our self-service platform. Regardless, this is completely unacceptable and violates our policies -- to say nothing of our values."
