Six months after announcing she was transitioning Rochester native Teddy Geiger has come forward into the public spotlight. Geiger was at the 2018 BMI Pop Awards in California on Tuesday to be honored for her songwriting for Shawn Mendes. Mendes performed the songs 'Mercy' and 'There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back.' Geiger is a former McQuaid Jesuit student.
