Woman Accused of Killing Boyfriend Tried to Give Talk to Students

The Livingston County woman who is accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death was asked by a local Alcoholics Anonymous group to speak to students at Livonia Central School District. According to 13WHAM, Danielle Allen went to talk to students about the impact of substance abuse, but was recognized by officials and was asked to leave. Allen is charged with manslaughter in the stabbing death of Marcus Postell. Court documents revealed she had a BAC of nearly three times the legal limit at the time.The case is awaiting trial. According to 13WHAM, The AA group has made policy changes because of the incident. The group said they did not consider her pending case at the time, and only considered the progress she has made.
