The funeral for an 18-year-old Hilton girl killed in a car accident will be held on Saturday. Paige Smith died after the car she was riding in collided with a SUV on Latta Road. Smith was a senior at Hilton High School and a member of the Hilton Varsity Cheerleading Squad.
The driver of the car, 18-year-old Brianna Scarpulla, is in satisfactory condition at Strong Memorial Hospital. The driver of the SUV, a 64-year-old woman, was treated for minor injuries and released.
