(SEGMENT OF THE DAY) What started as a segment about Tom Hanks, lead to DiTullio's list of Top 5 actors of all time (not to be confused with his list of Top 10 most underrated actors of all-time which is lead by Jon Voight) and ended up with a conversation about "paycheck actors".
One of the biggest culprits is obviously two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro. With a few exceptions (Silver Linings Playbook) his post-2003 career hasn't exactly been award worthy.
Al Pacino hasn't been that bad, but one paycheck role is very memorable for multiple reasons.
Al plays himself in Adam Sandler's 2011 flick Jack and Jill which is running an impressive 3% on Rotten Tomatoes. In the movie Al falls in love with Adam's character's twin sister played by, you guessed it, Adam in a fat suit and makeup.
The on redeeming thing from this movie combines two of John's favorite things, Dunkin' Donuts, and Al Pacino.
The segment is at the bottom of this post. The moment from the movie mentioned in the segment is here as well.
