The Livingston Co. Manhunt Continues...

Police and sheriff's deputies are still looking for David Morgan, the North Carolina man who allegedly pulled a gun on an officer during a traffic stop in Geneseo. The search has focused since yesterday afternoon on the field near Route 63 and Cuylerville Road where Morgan was last seen as he ran off.

Livingston County Sheriff Tom Dougherty says Morgan may have thought he was wanted, though Dougherty has not found any outstanding warrant.

Morgan is on probation from a meth distribution conviction. Dougherty says he can't be certain Morgan is still in the Geneseo area, but it is still the best place to search.

As of one o'clock this afternoon, Dougherty says law enforcement continues to search the area that Morgan was last observed going into a cornfield. Dougherty says authorities have cleared acres of fields and wooded areas with zero sightings of him.

Investigators have been talking to Morgan's girlfriend, but Dougherty isn't saying what he's learned about why they were in Geneseo.

Authorities are asking anyone with any information, or anyone who may have seen someone fitting Morgan's description to call 911 or 844.LCSO.TIP.
