Business owners in Rochester have started a petition against the City of Rochester's new metered parking rules. The meters now run two hours longer – until 8 p.m. on weekdays. Many businesses are concerned it could drive customers away.
The City of Rochester said it met with downtown stakeholders and, going forward, residents and visitors will be able to pay for more than two hours in metered spaces in the evening hours.
