FDA Recalls Thyroid Medications

The Food and Drug Administration has announced a voluntary recall for two thyroid medications. According to the FDA, Westminster Pharmaceuticals has recalled some Levothyroxine and Liothyronine tablets as a precaution. The medications were recalled because there could be problems with an ingredient. Anyone taking a recalled medication should continue taking it until they can get a replacement.
